The story behind smallpods
A personal corner of the internet for exploring ideas about technology, creativity, and the little things that matter.
The Origin
The name "smallpods" comes from a simple belief: the best ideas start small. They're tiny seeds — half-formed thoughts, quiet observations, little sparks of curiosity — that, with care and attention, grow into something worth sharing.
This blog is where I plant those seeds. It's a space for writing about the things I find interesting: web development, software engineering, design patterns, and the tools that make our work better. Sometimes it's a deep dive into a framework. Sometimes it's a reflection on process. And occasionally, it's something completely unexpected.
I started this site because writing helps me think. When I try to explain something clearly enough for others to understand, I end up understanding it better myself. It's a win-win: I learn more, and maybe someone reading this learns something too.
What I believe in
Start simple
The best solutions are the simplest ones. Don't over-engineer. Ship something small and iterate from there.
Learn in public
Writing is thinking. Sharing what you learn — even the messy, in-progress parts — helps everyone grow.
Stay curious
The most interesting things happen at the intersection of topics. Follow curiosity wherever it leads.
